Doris McConnell has proven she can listen first and then get things done through leadership. Her resume reflects extensive, hands-on involvement in her community and PTAs. Her goal is to make Shoreline a livable city for all.

Doris McConnell supports many of the city council's goals such as completing the Aurora project. She desires to stimulate local businesses, and improve traffic and neighborhood safety. Doris is

passionate about improving parks, open spaces and community assets. She supports broad community discussion that leads to a timely decision.

Doris McConnell, a dedicated Shoreline resident for over 20 years, psychology graduate from WSU, school psychologist, manager, and PTA leader, has worked personally with many residents. They will attest to the integrity, dedication, and independence Doris McConnell will bring to the city in order that Shoreline maintains the reputation as a "Best Place to Live".
